Our Lady’s Boys' School is situated in a place of great beauty, nestling at the foot of the Dublin Mountains and in close proximity to Marlay Park. The school was established on it's current site in 1969 and since then has been serving the community of Ballinteer.
The school currently has an enrolment of 234 boys, cared for by 16 teaching staff and 11 special needs assistant. The school also has a full-time school secretary. Currently the school has one of each class with the exception of Junior Infants where we have two classes.
We also have two special classes which cater for children on the Autistic Spectrum. The school has a long history of inclusiveness having one of Dublin's longest established Special Units for Autism which was opened in 1999.
All of the boys are encourged to work together and support each other and we find that the close relationship between the boys with special educational needs and those without leads to a very empathetic and caring school community.
